The Stanford 800 XL offers unlimited space and is a space miracle. It can accommodate 8 people in opposite sleeping cabins. The extra segment expands the living area and with 7.5 sqm offers enough space to spend holidays with the extended family or friends. With two entrances and large windows in the living area, it is a bright and comfortable family tent.
Intelligent ventilation system that takes advantage of the physical properties (thermal) of warm and cold air. Ventilation openings are integrated in the upper and lower area of the tent walls, which ensure air circulation in the tent and create a good room climate. Warm air rises and is forced out by the upper vents, cooler air is sucked in by the lower vents.
The tent is set up together with the outer tent and inner tent. With this set-up method, the inner tent/sleeping cabin is already attached to the outer tent and time is saved during assembly.
The Vango PVC window film, provides a clear view outside and lets a lot of light into the inside of the tent. The window film becomes wrinkle-free as soon as it gets a little warmth.
EN5912 is the product standard for the safety of camping tents. Among other things, it includes a test procedure for fabrics with flame protection and a rain test to check the tightness of the tent.
A darker fabric in the sleeping cabin ensures that too much light does not penetrate into the cabin and that your sleep is not disturbed by the rising sun
fibreglass is used for many tent constructions because it is very flexible but still stable. Fibreglass rods are drilled through from top to bottom, cut into segments of equal length and fitted with a metal sleeve on one side. The individual segments are connected with a rubber band, which facilitates the assembly. In order to place the rods of different lengths in the correct position during assembly, the rods are marked in colour.

Vango's tension band system are internal storm bracing. They form a triangle of forces and make the tent more stable (30% more stable than conventional tents) against strong lateral or changing winds.
