The extremely popular Talon range has become one of Osprey's classic rucksacks and sets the benchmark for the lightweight, high-performance sports rucksack category. Although Osprey have improved the range, they've been extremely careful not to change any of the features, the fit or the style that have made it so successful. The new design changes Osprey have made have reduced the weight of the range and provided every single model with even greater levels of comfort.
AirScape carrier system
The ribbed foam back panel of the AirScape carrier system is breathable and light, yet sturdy.
The innovative Stow-on-the-Go fastening system allows you to attach trekking poles to the side of the rucksack. This means that hikers don't have to stop or slow down.
The right size.
To make sure the backpack holds what it’s supposed to, it must fit properly and comfortably. Body weights and heights do not always equate to specific sizes, because people of the same height often have different back lengths, hip widths or shoulder widths. This means you should take your time when choosing your rucksack. To find your torso length, measure from your pelvic ridge (the highest point of your hip bone on the side of your body) up to the lowest cervical vertebra (C7) - the one that protrudes clearly if you lean your head forwards. Back length is decisive when choosing the right backpack size.
