Recycled Stratus R insulation traps air to reduce heat loss through convection. So your temperature is maintained when the mercury column drops, and you can recharge your batteries and then face tomorrow's challenges.
The mat has a low-profile two-way valve and comes with a convenient pump bag, so it's quick and easy to inflate when you're ready to get ready for the night. The oversized outer chambers serve to keep you from rolling off the mat while you sleep, and the generous rectangular shape means you can sleep comfortably through the night no matter what sleeping position you prefer.
