Salewa named the Sorapis vest after the legendary Sorapiss (Ital. Sorapis) mountain group that rises high above Cortina. It has an abrasion-resistant softshell construction made of 128-gram lightweight Durastretch, making it the ideal wind-resistant but breathable outer layer of protection for alpine trekking and hiking.

Why softshell?
Because softshell materials give you stretch and freedom of movement and are simply comfortable and versatile! This model's single-layer, moisture-wicking construction makes it an ideal lightweight vest.

It has a sporty fit, a close-fitting collar and soft chin guard, as well as elastic trim at the armholes and hem. There is also a shallow welded chest pocket with secure zipper closure.

The soft and cleanly finished, high-quality inner material is very comfortable to wear, and the treatment with Polygiene® ensures lasting odor inhibition: the growth of odor-causing bacteria is stopped, so you can wear the vest longer and wash it less often.
